Our mission: elevate the global kava industry through education, leadership development, collaboration and professional resources.

Kava Academy helps people succeed, lead and grow within the kava industry. It’s for owners, managers, frontline teams, entrepreneurs and industry professionals, and anyone new to the industry who wants a solid footing.

What we teach, and what we don’t

The Academy focuses on business, leadership, hospitality, marketing, operations, the industry and advocacy. It isn’t about how to prepare kava.

Our standards

• Content comes from qualified contributors across operations, hospitality, research, law, culture and advocacy, with their credentials shown.
• Heritage content is reviewed by Pacific Island cultural educators and credits the knowledge it draws on. The Academy doesn’t claim cultural authority.
• Compliance and health topics name their jurisdiction and date. They are general education, not individual legal or medical advice.
• Every program shows its real status. If something isn’t open yet, we say so.

Who runs Kava Academy

Kava Academy is a program of Dignitas Ventures, which also produces KavaCon and Kava Summit. The Academy is separate from those events: it’s year-round education, while the events bring the community together in person.
